Mary Witlacil

Mary found her way to TechGearLab through a circuitous route that involved years of education, climbing routes, and working as a bicycle mechanic. She is presently a Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Politics and Policy at Colorado State University, and she approaches each review as she approaches her research, with keen attention to detail, a disposition toward rigorous interpretation, thorough analysis, and a passion for interrogating problems from multiple angles. Prior to beginning her Ph.D., Mary earned her M.A. in Politics and International Affairs from Northern Arizona University, and a B.A. in Political Science and French from the University of Colorado, in Denver. Despite being born in Colorado, Mary has studied politics and French in Colorado, Arizona, and France, splitting her time between reading political theory and climbing rocks throughout the Western U.S.
