Travis Reddinger is a Certified Nurse Practitioner and earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice from St. Catherine University. Travis works full-time as a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and occasionally covers the Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department. He works with a few different Universities teaching point-of-care ultrasound, sits on the nursing advisory council for Saint Catherine University, and sits on the
Minnesota Combat Sports Advisory Council.

Travis works in a level one trauma hospital and has spent his entire career in emergency medicine and critical care. Travis is very passionate about point of care ultrasound, vascular access and procedures, quality improvement, research, and education. His professional work experience started as an automotive technician before becoming an EMT, then earning a degree in Paramedicine and multiple degrees in nursing. Travis also spent years as a firefighter and rescue technician on county and state response teams as well as a haz-mat response team. While in those departments he specialized in rope rescue, structural
collapse and confined space rescue, trench rescue, and mass casualty response among others. During training or on deployments, he has used many types of climbing and rescue gear along with tools for support and extrication.

While not at work it is difficult to find Travis not being active throughout the day. After spending years as a professional MMA fighter, he still trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai regularly. He still enjoys construction/remodeling projects, welding/fabricating, and automotive and motorcycle repair. Travis also spends time mountain biking, fishing, hunting, dirt biking, rock climbing, archery, snowboarding, basically anything that keeps him moving since he doesn't sit stationary very well. Travis is fortunate enough to have two sons who share his passions and are eager to learn and participate in the numerous activities.

With the amount of knowledge and technical skills Travis possesses, it's no surprise he is involved in product testing and reviews. He has years of experience working with different tools in the professional or home garage, using and testing equipment in the medical field and fire department, and doing all his own repairs and maintenance on equipment, vehicles, and his home. He enjoys working with different products and seeing how they perform and how the brands differ from one another. Travis understands that each person has individual concerns, needs, and a budget that should be considered when making a decision on products.
