Our Verdict

The Cosori Dual Blaze offers very accurate temperatures and easy cleaning. The smooth interior makes for a quick clean-up. Unfortunately, the cooking performance and ease of use are subpar. It does a stellar job creating a juicy chicken breast and crunchy onion rings, but the sweet potato fries and donuts leave much to be desired. The controls and interface are small and do not always respond to light touch. If you are most concerned with temperature accuracy, this might be a good air fryer for you; however, there are higher-performing options in our test suite for less money. Cooking Performance

The Dual Blaze cooking performance varies depending on what you're making. It produces super juicy chicken in roughly 24 minutes, but the thinner edges are slightly overcooked. Tater tots have that perfect crunch on the outer layer; however, the insides are a smidge undercooked. This is a small price to pay for the outer crunch, though.

The onion rings also have a nice crunch to the outside, but the inner layer of the batter is slightly undercooked on some of them. Sweet potatoes are a mess. They are undercooked in the middle, while others are burnt.

Donuts, on the other hand, and consistently undercooked. We tried cooking them for longer, but that didn't work. We do not suggest using the Dual Blaze for donuts as you will likely be disappointed in the results. Overall the Dual Blaze offers an average cooking experience.

User Friendliness

The display is wide and thin, about 2.75 inches tall, whereas other air fryers display the time and temp on a larger screen. It offers 12 different functions, which are a little hard to see on such a small display; however, the digital buttons are sleek and concise. The temperature and time are displayed in the middle of the functions and could be bigger for those who don't have perfect eyesight.

The digital buttons require a harder press to register, which can result in the user needing to press the buttons multiple times before the Dual Blaze responds.

The pause button is helpful, and the Dual Blaze automatically pauses when you remove the basket. It always resets to an auto-fry setting of 360 degrees for 10 minutes. There is much to be improved regarding user-friendliness, but we've experienced more difficult appliances to operate.

Ease of Cleaning

Both the tray and basket are dishwasher safe, which makes deep cleaning a breeze. The basket is easy to wipe with a sponge for a quick clean. The Dual Blaze also does not hold onto grease like some of the other options in our suite, meaning you don't have to scrub it down very often.

Temperature Accuracy

The Dual Blaze does a great job of remaining within a few degrees of the set temperature. There were no more than five degrees of difference throughout our entire temp testing phase. This air fryer is spot on at 300 degrees. At 350 and 375, there is a five-degree discrepancy. At 400 degrees, the Dual Blaze is only 2.5 degrees over the desired temperature. Overall this air fryer is very accurate.

Should You Buy the Cosori Dual Blaze?

The Dual Blaze offers very accurate temperatures, juicy chicken, and crispy onion rings. That said, some of our top performers cost less and offer higher overall scores, giving them a much better bang for their buck.

What Other Air Fryers Should You Consider?

If bang for your buck is your main concern, the GoWISE USA Digital performs much better across the board for the same or less. The Instant Vortex Plus is one of our top performers, offering top-tier cooking performance and user-friendliness at a slightly higher price point. The Instant Vortex Plus XL is considerably more expensive, but the dual drawers make cooking for larger parties much easier.
